Miami Zoo

We took a road trip over to Miami to visit Cameron's Brother Abe's his wife Julie and their kids Kathryn (6) Emily (5) Lauren (3) and Brandon (10 Months).
we had a great time and even made it over to the zoo on the coldest day of the year. Before coming we checked the weather and knew it would be cold but I honestly didn't believe it because The times we have been here for Christmas we are drowning in our own sweat. so I decided to pack a few light jackets just in case but everything else would be shorts and t-shirts. Thankfully Abe and Julie had some clothes we could barrow because it was FREEZING... OK so it was like 50 degrees but with that kind of weather in Florida you might as well be walking around with ice cycles hanging off your nose.

after much persuasion, threatening and bribing we gave up trying to get a picture of the whole family and decided to just have us. after all we are the most cooperative.

Julie and the girls, Kathryn (6) Emily (5) and Lauren (3) were our navigators and tour guides.

Katelyn and Dallin are great at saying cheese when you ask them to, we are still working on the looking at the camera thing though. at least this time they are facing our general direction... that's not always the case.

we saw lots of elephants, big ones, little ones and live ones.

Brandon (10 months)and Grant (2 months) slept a good part of the day. they looked so comfy cozy snuggled up in their blankets.

What would a trip the the zoo be without riding an alligator?
front to back, Emily, Kathryn, Lauren and Katelyn.

or a camel?
